Next week we’ll be treated to the first full trailer for the upcoming film Snow White & The Huntsman. While we wait for that to drop, feast your eyes on the following four featurettes (sorry all of them have unskippable ads). These videos have lead ins from the stars of the film are cover all things from set design to costumes to the characters of this dark and gritty take on the famous story.
One thing I wish they might have touched on is the musical score. Was what we heard in the teaser really James Newton Howard’s score or was the TRON/Inception inspired track just a placeholder? Snow White & the Huntsman (#SWATH for short) star Kristin Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and features the talents of Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan as the dwarfs with Sam Calfin as the Prince.
Universal will be bringing this to theaters this Summer (well, technically Spring) on June 1st 2011. I think it was the Lord of the Rings feel that did it for me but I’ll ask you. Does anyone like the look of this gritty story? Anyone intrigued in the least??
