The 2012 cinematic marketing campaigns are in full vigor it seems, boasting trailers almost as epic as the films they’re advertising. The AMAZING trailer for Prometheus hit on Saturday (which funny enough also stars Charlize Theron) and hitting just as hard is this one for Rupert Sanders’ Snow White & the Huntsman. Last week we showcased 4 featurettes that briefly showed a behind the scenes look at the film as well as bits of new footage. Snow White & the Huntsman (#SWATH for short) star Kristin Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron and features the talents of Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan as the dwarfs with Sam Calfin as the Prince.
Universal will be bringing this to theaters this Summer (well, technically Spring) on June 1st 2011. I think it was the Lord of the Rings feel that did it for me but I’ll ask you. Does anyone like the look of this gritty story? Anyone intrigued in the least??
